Additionally, it is important to ensure that: • An open or well-ventilated vehicle is used • You carry a 2kg fire extinguisher • Cylinder valves are closed and equipment disconnected • Cylinders are safely secured (often in an upright position) within the vehicle • You have the Safety Data Sheet for the gas being transported • If you suspect there's a leak while you're transporting the cylinder, pull over in a safe, well-ventilated area and contact BOC immediately.
